| 1. From the Outlook Tools menu,
choose Accounts |

| 2. Click the Mail tab
Click Add, and Mail |
|
| 3. In the Display, type in Your
Name |
|
| 4. In the Internet Mail Address
box, type in your e-mail address (e.g., username@domain.com) |
|
| 5. The Incoming Mail server is
a POP3
The Incoming Mail Server is mail.yourdomain.com
The Outgoing Mail Server is mail.yourisp.com |
|
| 6. Type in the username and password
of your new email address. |
|
| 7. If you are connected through
a cable modem or on a LAN, select Connect using
my local area network (LAN). |
|
| 8. If you need to connect through
a phone line (modem or DSL), select Connect using
my phone line, then fill in the phone number you
dial to connect to your ISP. |
|
| 9. Select the modem you use to
connect. |
|
| 10. Type in the username and
password assigned to you by your ISP. |
|
| 11. Type in the name of your
ISP. |
|
| 12. Click Send/Receive to check
mail. |
|
| 13. Send a test email to yourself
from the account to check the format of your outgoing
email, and to make sure you can send and receive
effectively. |
